ACE Systems

The Abrasive Cutting System ACE has been developed in conjunction with our partner A B Precision to provide a extremely flexible high integrity cutting system for use in Explosive Ordnance Decommissioning or other hazardous applications.

ACE in the field

It enables the EOD operator to carry out decommissioning operations on uncleared and unexploded munitions in a safe and controlled manner whilst operating at a distance of up to 500m. The system may also be used to achieve other cutting tasks on virtually any materials in a wide range of environments.

The system has been designed to meet the stringent requirements of the UK MoD's bomb disposal teams. Comprehensive testing and evaluation of the system against many of the world's competing products has led the UK MoD to choose the ACE for its future cutting requirements.

The equipment is registered as NATO No.
W8 / 1385 / 99-244-0530.
