Getting the cutter to the site is often the most tricky part of design of cutting equipment, and DIAJET offers a variety of solutions to meet your needs.

Man-Portabilty
Portability is taken to extremes with the ACE ordnance decommissioning equipment. Designed in modules, mounted on wheeled frames to aid carrying, each can be carried manually for short distances, and the units are designed to fit into a single pallet for transport on a small trailer.

Only the cutting head and manipulator actually have to be at the cutting site, and ACE's head and manipulator with its lightweight aluminium frame is designed for easy portability. With remote operation up to 500m, the rest of the equipment can be left at a more convenient location!

Carrying the cutting head and manipulator

For less extreme uses, man-portable OSPREY systems can be moved on small trailers or fork-lift trucks, and the cutting head and manipulator moved manually.

Skid-Mounted Models
For many purposes, some level of transportability is useful, but full man-portability is not required. Skid-mounted models can be moved easily on trailers and fork-lift trucks, providing a convenient solution for maintenance and decommissioning work.

Containerised Units
For factory- or plant-based use, containerised models often provide the easiest solution. With all services fitted, and options available for hazard zone 2 use, they are straightforward to transport and quick to set up on site.

Containerised systems can also include:

  • Water filtration systems
  • Full zone 2 standard electrics
  • Workshop / store area
  • Office accommodation
  • Insulation / air conditioning
